This is a really great twist on the current form of Gladiators. This would give players much more choice as to how they want to PvP. The only negative thing I can think of surrounding this idea is whether there would be enough players to fill up all the different modes, but I definitely think there would be.
My reasoning for this is because this would replace the Lobby Gladiators that currently exists, and that already draws in quite a bit of players. If you think about it, there are usually around lobbies open at a time, and at peak hours, the Gladiators arenas are occupied in all of them. This would mean there would be more than enough players to fill up all these new Gladiators gamemodes. Ultimately I really want this to happen and believe that this will be a great addition to the Gladiators concept on Mineplex.
More variety in Glads in my opinion would open the activity to more people in which would play daily. Great idea with some amazing points made by yourself, would love to see this happen. Hello there! I believe this would be a great idea!
Reason being is because as you stated, gladiators only has one kit layout so far. Adding more optional gear and items to use within gladiators would increase the variety greatly, hopefully bringing more attention towards it! If a player doesn't like a certain kit, they can always choose another.
I personally really enjoy sumo, so I really hope to see this added! This would be really great. I don't have anything to add, I just hope this is added. Most lobby features parkours, games, NPCs, etc. This proposal seems like an amazing fit for the decaying maintenance done to the lobby.
The Mixed Arcade gladiators, in my opinion, should stay as it is, although still have this "nerfed" lobby version as the actual game is well-developed and has a good system already. OP OP. Perhaps we could have a pref for future to disable these small little hotbar effects when seasonal updates come out, but I feel like it's too late to already implement it for this year's Halloween season. Paladise and anna dot like this. Personally, I love the new temporary color of the hearts! They are totally in-theme with the spooky season. If anything, I wouldn't be too worried, as the black hearts will be removed after the season is over. Which should not be too long There are also texture pack overlays that you can download that can make wither hearts a brighter color.
Just a temporary fix Either way, things should go back to normal soon. Paladise likes this. I don't see it as a big enough issue to reverse it just for Lobby Gladiators. It's only going to be like this temporarily, and I doubt it will be that long.
I do see where you're coming from because it does make the hearts slightly harder to see, but that does not seriously impair gameplay, it just may make things a little harder.
