The long dark save game download ps4

I don't see any option to save the game where I am or anything. Does it just save when you sleep? I thought maybe it autosaves but the prompt about "any unsaved data will be lost" made me think otherwise. I just left my game running overnight because I was afraid to lose the progress I had :P haha. Is there any way to save the game? Please tell me there is D:. Showing 1 - 15 of 15 comments. You can see the autosave happening - a circular symbol will appear on the right side of your screen for a second or so. The game isn't very clear about this, Ive noticed it saves after certain actions, like as you said sleeping.

If you were playing Survival Mode, or one of the Challenge Modes, the game is advertised as permadeath.

Meaning, you die, it's permanent. Your save is gone. Not "lazy coding". It is intentional and how pretty much all "hardcore" permadeath games work. You can respawn over and over again, or go back to an earlier checkpoint, autosave, or manual save, to try to redo the section over again, differently.

And unless you were already on death's doorstep, falling. That seems to be a bit of an overdramatization. We pretty much all die dozens of times, learning the mechanics, and learning how things work in this game. It's not an "easy" game, it does not hold your hand, outside of Pilgrim, which still is not impossible to die in if you screw up.
